Freedom Jail Ministry:

 

We are an interdenominational jail ministry for both men and women.  We were founded in 2001 and specifically to inmates in the NW Indiana area.  We provide the following:

·         God’s plan for Salvation

·         Life Skills training based on the Gospel of our Lord

·         We lead 12-step Christian based, Chemical Addiction classes

·         We provide an addiction workbook and certificate upon completion of the book and program

·         We also provide bibles and the inmates are allowed to keep their study materials

·         We now have a Re-Entry Program, though in its infant stages, we are capable of providing resources and help

·         They Re-Entry Program has the goal of also extending its love to the families of these inmates

 

We appreciate your interest!  In times past when someone has asked how they could help we have provided the following:

·         Prayer for the ministry

·         Members can write notes/cards of encouragement for inmates

·         We can be supported financially so we can continually provide lesson materials, training, and bibles.  (We are a 501c3)

·         Invite others and attend our annual informative fundraiser dinner in the fall

·         Volunteer!  The jail is currently not accepting volunteers at this time but that will be changing soon so we can add those interested to our waiting list
